Preheat the oven to 165°C (325°F). Butter and lightly flour a loaf pan.
For the vanilla batter:

First whisk the egg yolks and sugar together, then add the cream.

Whisk in the flour and baking powder, then the melted butter until fully incorporated. Set aside.
For the chocolate batter:

Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and cocoa powder together, then add the cream.

Add the flour and baking powder, whisk, then add the melted butter and stir until combined.
To assemble the cake: (easy way)

Pour half of the vanilla batter in the pan and spread, then pour the chocolate batter on top. Add the rest of the vanilla batter. Using a spatula, spoon, or knife, gently push the utensil into the batter and pull up, mixing the flavors together.
To assemble the cake: (harder way)

Take a large spoonful of the vanilla batter and put into the loaf pan (in different spots) then a bit of the chocolate batter, alternating colors until all batter is used. Then, using a spatula, spoon, or knife, gently push the utensil into the batter and pull up, mixing the flavors together
